چکیده
Biotechnological and industrial processes involve applications of various microorganisms enzymes, laccase, as a multifunctional enzyme, is admired for its role in degrading variety substances. Laccase copper-containing oxidase enzyme that usually found insects, plants, including fungi archaea. Several phenolic substrates are oxidized by laccases, which results crosslinking. Various research work solutions have identified the true potential laccases to degrade aromatic polymers, their plausible application bioremediation other industries entirely conceivable. This review focuses on provides an overview natural origin, catalytic mechanism, methods production. Further, we discuss laccase biotechnological arena. We observed can detoxify synthetic compounds. The broad substrate specificity same makes it worthy different fields such food technology, textile paper biosensors nanobiotechnology, biofuel, applications, described this paper. These recent developments show biotechnology provide outlook at forefront biotechnology.

Fungal laccase – a versatile enzyme for biotechnological applications
Laccase belongs to the small group of enzymes called the blue multi copper oxidases. Laccase is widely distributed in higher plants and fungi. In fungi, laccase is present in Ascomycetes, Deuteromycetes, Basidiomycetes and is particularly abundant in many white-rot fungi that degrade lignin. Laccases have been subject of intensive research in the last decades due to their broad substrate specif...
